Announcing Where We Bloom

Where We Bloom, the first title from BLOOM Imprint, Slow Flowers' publishing arm, is heading to the printer very soon and will be published in April! Cover price: $22.95.

Produced by BLOOM's editorial director Debra Prinzing and creative director Robin Avni, the book gathers a collection of studios, workshops, storefronts owned by Slow Flowers members. Debra's inspiration came from a book she wrote in 2008 called Stylish Sheds & Elegant Hideaways. "I loved showcasing one-of-a-kind garden structures, potting sheds, and little backyard havens," Debra says. "That book was tailored for gardening audiences and I thought, why can't we create something similar around floral spaces?"

The "WE" in this book's title represents the vibrant Slow Flowers community of creatives. This project features thirty-seven beautiful plant- and flower-filled settings of our members: designers, farmer-florists, and growers. The talented Jenny M. Diaz is the book's graphic designer and it's our thrill to announce that Emily Thompson of NYC-based Emily Thompson Flowers, wrote the foreword!

Inside the 128 pages, you'll find ideas to inspire the design, interiors, organization, and of course, functionality of your creative floral studio. We are so grateful to include these members:
